We finance proven solutions

Psychosocial support for refugees and helpers, both online and offline, is a central challenge for ipsocare. Every refugee experience, especially one triggered by war, is associated with trauma and insecurity. Therefore, immediate psychological support is an important part of the process of arriving in a new country.

With the help of partial funding from the Alliance4Ukraine Fund, 26 refugee Ukrainian psychologists were trained as psychological counsellors. The newly trained counsellors can support Ukrainian refugees in Germany. Their support gives refugees security and facilitates the integration process.

Ten graduates of the training have been employed through a cooperation between Ipso-care and Malteser. Ipso-care also offers intercultural competence training.
